My sister-in-law, Diane, just had a birthday a few days ago marking 50 years of a beautiful life. She and Stan (my brother - the guy she keeps ending up in pictures with) started dating when I was about 5 years old so Diane has been around or in my family for almost my entire memory! I was in awe of her beauty on her wedding day when I got to be a junior bridesmade and have been in awe of her ever since. Kind, gentle, easily humored, easy-to-talk-to, wise, hospitable, a great mother, etc., etc - what a lovely lady!
