Oum er-Rbia

Oum er-Rbia is the longest river in Morocco. A few weeks ago, we went with Ron & family to see its source. Over a winding, potholed road we drove a few hours into the mountains to this lovely spot. Over 40 springs feed into the river at the source and then cascade over the cliff you see here. It is accessible via footpath and with the help of kind Moroccans who whisked our girls over the difficult parts.
Below the waterfall and hugging the side of the stream are a delightful series of little restaurant huts in which we ate a Moroccan chicken tajin off of low tables while sitting on the floor.

Great Pictures. I would love to go out to eat like that. Was that a piece of bread? I remember that you loved the taste and texture of different kinds of bread. Dave's step sister had avirus attach her heart and she is in major trouble. There is worries about brian damage and they are not sure when or how much she will recover. His wife, Barb N. is in a major worry state and it has them both very upset. It was the same viral heart attack that blows the rhythm up and then the damage starts. We are hoping for the best.

Yes, what I am touching is a piece of "khobs," Moroccan bread. You dip it in the sauce of the tajin. The chicken tajin is covered in vegies - carrots, pumpkin, etc.
We will be praying for Dave's step sister.
