Katrina, my ballerina

Let's back waaay up to the very end of June - Katrina's ballet performance! Here she is with a few other ballerinas getting ready for the show. Extra-curricular classes are hit-and-miss here and we just happened to have a ballet teacher in town the last two years, so Katrina took classes in the dance room at the university. Her teacher is gone now, so no more ballet. We'll see what's next!
Ouch! My toe-touching-head days are long gone...

Several times we had to wait for the belly-dancing class ahead of us to finish before ballet class started and the girls would stare with open mouths at the college students moving who-knows-how -- what a contrast with the little ballet class right afterwards!

Katrina and Claire (in purple) invited their class, so her teacher and almost all her classmates came. What a wiggly, silly, supportive group of little people! Afterwards they all danced and danced on the floor - fun!
